By focusing on a person’s emotional and behavioral health, together we build stronger and more resilient communities throughout Connecticut.
Housatonic Youth Service Bureau
HYSB eliminates barriers by bringing engaging programs directly to students at all six elementary/middle schools in our region and the Housatonic Regional Valley High School. They provide a range of youth development programs and opportunities for self-exploration that help young people feel more valued, productive, and positive about their lives.
Region 1 School District
NCPN works closely with the Region 1 staff, students, and families, offering programs and support regarding prevention efforts. Collaboratively we create initiatives based on current youth survey data that identify what students need, rising trends and more.
CT State Police - Troop B
CT State Police Troop B, located in Canaan, CT, helps support NCPN and Region 1 community via programs such as the ever-important Drug Take Back Days on April 26 and October 25, 2025, where individuals can turn in drugs with no questions asked.
Western CT Coalition
WCTC is a wonderful resource that focuses on individuals, families, and children living and working in the 43 towns in Connecticut's Northwestern region. They facilitate the efficient use of funds, link local services, and cultivate partnerships to ensure sustainability.
Litchfield County Opiate Task Force
The Litchfield County Opiate Task Force (LCOTF) organizes its work around four essential goals: improving access to care, enhancing collaboration and data sharing between and amongst service providers, addressing addiction in the community, and sharing information and resources about addiction, prevention, harm reduction, and treatment.

CT Association for Prevention Professionals
CAPP is a statewide network of prevention advocates that identifies and spreads awareness of behavioral health trends while ensuring growth of the field and providing resources across the state.
Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America
CADCA represents over 5,000 community coalitions that involve individuals from key sectors including schools, law enforcement, youth, parents, healthcare, media, tribal communities and others. The CADCA coalition model emphasizes the power of community coalitions to prevent substance misuse through collaborative community efforts. They believe that prevention of substance use and misuse before it starts is the most effective and cost-efficient way to reduce substance use and its associated costs.
